Wow time moves quickly!

I can't believe that this coming Saturday is the very last day at our original retail location in Lindsay, Ontario!  I have so many emotions I can't begin to describe them all.  It's bittersweet, and exciting all at the same time.  We grew our footing here, and figured out a lot of stuff, good, bad, ugly, and all the things in between (of course I am referring to running a business).

The last day of in store shopping is Saturday March 12, 10-4.  Amanda and I will be at the shop all day, so if you feel like popping by to share a few stitches, and memories, you are cordially invited.  We can't promise there won't be a tear shed, but they will be happy ones.

With that said, the store is full of goodies to stock up on, while we work away at a new Lindsay location.  Don't worry, we won't be gone long.  A few months, and then the new refreshed, reinvigorated Aberdeen's Wool will once again welcome guests in our new location.  (We will keep you up to date as progress happens)

In the meantime, a few reminders from questions we've gathered over the last few weeks:

• All reward points (Tangles Points), gift certificate (digital, or paper copies) and all store credit will be honoured at the new location, as well as online, if you need a hand redeeming them, we will gladly help you out.  
• We are working on setting up a delivery schedule for once to twice a week for the interm. (We will update when we have days of the week, etc.  when that is set up)
• We are still working away at the Covid Memorial Blanket, and still accepting squares, this has always been a fluid project, as information, etc. changes daily.  We will post a full update next week, once we get through Saturday.
• Our online shop will be better than ever, as our work force condenses into one space, many hands make light work, and will be fully operational during the retail shop relocation.  We will be shipping daily.

Throughout the pandemic, we learned the art of pivoting, well as best we could under the circumstances.  This is our fresh start, and we hope you'll join us on our journey.  We will be posting lots of news and info on our socials, keep you up to date on the blog, and we even have lots of fun things planned for our Youtube channel.  

Can't wait to start this new chapter in the evolution of Aberdeen's Wool.  And, we are so incredibily grateful for each and every one of you.  My heart is full, and humbled.  Thanks for making the first chapter amazing.
