Part of the Tangled Poets "colour a day" music themed series (Day 6) is inspired by the song “Where the Wildflowers Lay” by Kay Hasty.
For the music inspired series, Heather uses her ability to actually see sounds in the form of colours (aka: Synesthesia) to create skeins that replicate how she sees specific songs of her choosing. We strongly encourage you to support the artists of inspiration that we feature (you'll get a tag with the song info on it) by checking out their music/work.
These skeins have the same content as the traditional Tangled Poets "Backpacker" skeins:
80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon
Fingering weight, Hand dyed locally
Gauge: 27-32 stitches per 4 inches (2.25 mm-3.5mm needle)
Although this is a superwash yarn, we recommend hand washing the first few times, to ensure no dye residue is present. (We rinse and wash a lot, however little bits can sometimes remain).
