What is everfresh? (why is this yarn so unique)
Everfresh is an antimicrobial fibre that has been developed by Aska,
the world's leading acrylic fibre producer.
The everfresh fibre has zinc ions clinically engineered into the
heart of each and every fibre.

Why add Zinc?
Zinc is an essential nutrient that helps your immune system
function, that is found in foods such as broccoli, spinach, kale
and meat.

Why Put Zinc in Yarn?
Zinc prevents the formation of bacteria, fungi, and mould. It also
has anti-viral properties. Unlike other antimicrobe "spray on" technologies,
which will wear off after washing. Everfresh remains in the heart
of the yarn wear after wear, wash after wash, keeping life's little
nasties away from our cherished loved ones.
